Policies
How we work, and how we handle your information
Plain language, no fine-print tricks. If anything here is unclear, call the office and we will explain it.
Draft for legal review
These policies were written in plain language to describe how we actually work. The privacy, consent, anti-spam and guarantee wording should be reviewed by a qualified British Columbia lawyer before you rely on it.
Booking and confirmation
Requests made through this website are requests, not confirmed appointments. Our office confirms the date, the time window and the price with you in writing before a clean is placed on the schedule.
Recurring clients keep the same day, time window and cleaner wherever possible. If your regular cleaner is unavailable, we send a trained team member briefed on your checklist and notes, and we tell you in advance.
Quotes are based on the information you give us. If the property is materially different from what we were told, we will tell you before starting and agree on any change to the work or the price first.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Please give the office at least two business days' notice to cancel or move a visit. When you cancel late or we cannot get access, the time was held for you and could not be filled, so a charge may apply. We will always tell you before it is applied.
If we need to reschedule, we will contact you as early as possible and offer the closest alternative slot.
For recurring service there is no contract. You may pause or end your schedule at any time with reasonable notice, and we simply ask you to tell the office rather than a cleaner on the day.
Access, keys and alarms
You do not need to be home. We can hold a key, use a lockbox, or work with a code or fob you provide. Access details are recorded on your file and are available only to the office and the cleaner assigned to your visit.
Tell us about pets, alarms and building requirements. Our cleaners follow your building's procedures exactly, including move-in and elevator booking rules.
Keys held by us are stored securely and logged. If you would prefer we never hold a key, we can work around a lockbox or an entry code instead.
Pricing and payment
Every cleaning service is quoted as a total price based on the agreed scope of work. Your quote will outline the services included and the total price before your cleaning is confirmed.
If additional services are requested or unexpected conditions require a change in scope, our office will discuss and obtain approval for any additional charges before proceeding.
Commercial, strata, post-construction and unusual projects are quoted after a walkthrough, so the scope can be seen before it is priced.
Payment arrangements and applicable terms will be confirmed by our office. We do not collect or store credit card details through this website, and no payment information is requested in any form on this site.
Gift certificates are available from the office and can be applied to any residential service.
Our satisfaction guarantee
If something was missed or not done to standard, tell us within 24 hours of your clean and we will return to make it right at no extra cost.
We cannot guarantee outcomes on surfaces that are already damaged, or on work outside the scope agreed in your quote.
We are fully insured, bondable and WCB covered. If you believe something has been damaged, tell the office immediately so we can review it with you promptly.
Privacy policy
This policy explains how Perfection Cleaning handles personal information collected through this website, in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect: your name, email address, phone number, cleaning address, city, the details of the service you are requesting, your preferred schedule and any instructions you give us. If you apply for a job, we also collect your work experience and any resume you upload.
Why we collect it: to prepare and confirm your quote, to schedule and deliver the cleaning you asked for, to contact you about your request, to keep a record of the work we did, and to follow up on service quality.
How it is shared: your details are held in our customer records system, Less Annoying CRM, and sent to our office by email so a person can follow up. Our website, email and hosting providers process this data on our behalf. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Consent: submitting a quote, booking or contact form is your consent for us to use your details to respond and provide the service. Marketing emails are separate and optional. You choose that separately on the form, the box is not pre-ticked, and you can withdraw that consent at any time without affecting your service.
How long we keep it: enquiry and service records are kept while you are a client and for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting, insurance and legal purposes. Job applications are kept for the hiring process. You can ask us to remove information we no longer need.
Access and correction: you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Contact our office and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Security: access to customer records is limited to authorized office staff, and resume files are stored privately with access limited to our hiring team. No system is perfectly secure, so we ask that you share only the information needed.
Website, cookies and the AI assistant
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels on this website, and we do not build advertising profiles of visitors.
The chat assistant on this site is an artificial intelligence service, and it identifies itself as such. It can explain our services, help you work out what you need, take your details and pass them to our office. It cannot confirm a price, confirm an appointment, offer a discount or make a refund decision.
If the assistant cannot answer reliably, it will tell you and offer to send your question to our office. Conversations handled by the assistant are stored so our office can follow up, and a summary is attached to your customer record if you ask us to contact you.
Please do not send sensitive information, payment card details or account passwords through the chat or any form on this site.
